Key Findings
- •The current market median is $5.59 per can including shipping, while the tracked catalog ranges from $1.99 to $8.49. That is a 4.3x gap between the cheapest and most expensive best-observed prices.
- •7 of the current top 25 brand leaders are below $3.00 per can including shipping, led by Sesh+, CLEW, Zone, ZYN, and others.
- •ZYN's cheapest lead product sits at $2.79 per can, but the brand median is $5.36. That 48% gap shows why single promo-priced SKUs should not be mistaken for normal brand pricing.
- •Après is currently the most expensive large brand in the benchmark, with a median best price of $7.34 across 70 tracked products. That is about 31% above the overall market median.

Methodology
- The index uses active stores with verified US-shipping status in PouchTracker data.
- This shipping-status filter is an operational test in our dataset, not a legal opinion about who may sell in every US state.
- Only in-stock offers are included.
- Shipping is modeled to NY ZIP 10001 and included in the total price-per-can benchmark.
- For each product group, we select the lowest observed total price-per-can including shipping.
- The public top-table uses one lead product per brand and prefers products tracked at two or more stores. It is not a full list of every cheapest product in the dataset.
- Mixpacks and excluded non-pouch catalog items are removed.
- Offers older than 14 days are excluded to reduce stale-price noise.
- Implausible outliers are removed (for example, extreme per-can values caused by bad pack-size parsing).
- The page prefers the latest validated daily market snapshot and falls back to live recalculation only if a full snapshot payload is unavailable.
